Directive 8020 was a step up in my role from previous projects. as I was tasked with designing and prototyping new gameplay systems and ensuring alignment with the project goals.
With the successful creation of this new approach, I went on to lead an interdisciplinary team on creating new AI & gameplay systems for use in stealth horror encounters. I worked closely with the game director, design director, and production to bring the features to final release quality.
I was also responsible for planning, organizing, and performance directing motion capture shoots for the AI and it's subsequent encounter scenarios; working closely with animation and engineering disciplines to create a quick and agile pipeline for getting gameplay driven animations into the game.
I managed a team of designers through designing and implementing cinematic stealth encounters across the game. Working with the design director and production, we were able to deliver all encounters, levels, and AI features across disciplines, achieving key project milestones and goals.
